Formerly known as referenceUSA, this database from Data Axle is updated weekly and provides information on 56 million businesses, 228 million historical records, and 1.2 million physicians and dentists in the United States. It also lists 2.5 million job and internship postings.
It is searchable by corporate or personal name, location, ticker symbol, and many other filters. Doctors can be searched by office or personal name, location, medical school, age, gender, specialty, and more.
Turn to Morningstar for data and recommendations on 10,000 stocks and 24,000 mutual funds. There are 4,000 analyst reports, and the online tutorials will help you perform an effective search.
