Children’s programs are extremely popular. We recommend that registrants arrive early to check-in. Your reserved spot will be held for five minutes after the starting time of the class before being given to a patron on the waitlist. If you know you cannot attend a class, please cancel your registration on LibCal (https://gardencitypl.libcal.com/) or call the Library at 516-742-8405 x5241 so your spot can be released to someone on the waitlist.
This 30-minute program is for children ages 18 months – 36 months and their caregivers. Join a Librarian and enjoy 30-minutes of books, flannels, music, movement, and more on the following dates from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM:

- Monday, January 26.

It is Library policy that parents of children under 11 must be accompanied by a parent or designated responsible person while in the Library. Also, if the young child is attending a Library program, we require the parent or designated responsible person to remain in the Library throughout the program and meet the child upon completion of the program.

They will answer questions and provide solutions to common challenges that get people stuck.

There will be a Special Meeting of the Library Board of Trustees on Monday, January 19, 2026 at 7:30 PM in the Library’s Small Meeting Room, located on the lower level. The Board will immediately move into Executive Session to discuss a matter of personnel pursuant to Section 105(1)(f) of the Open Meetings Law.
