Garden City history is on full display at the Library! Village Co-Historian Patty Siler curated and arranged these displays from photos in the Village Archives and other prints. These wall displays of the Village’s rich history, including portraits of Alexander and Cornelia Stewart, Doubleday, Adelphi College, St. Paul’s, the Cathedral of the Incarnation, and more, are now hanging for viewing in the Library’s Quiet Study Room, A.T. Stewart Room, and Group Study Room.
Pictured in the Group Study Room are Library Board Trustee Randy Colahan, Operations Director Courtney Rutt Rosenblatt, Library Director Marianne Malagon, Library Board Chair Colleen Foley, Ms. Siler, and Village Trustee Bruce Torino posing in front of more historical photos from the archives, including photos of the Library and Garden City Hotel.
