Microsoft’s venerable web browser, Internet Explorer, is no longer supported by many popular websites, including AOL, gMail, and Yahoo.   In fact, Microsoft is replacing it with a new browser called Edge.  Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, and Opera are but three of the alternatives.
