Policies

As a department and part of the Village of Garden City, the Garden City Library follows the Village’s Sexual Harassment Prevention Policy and the Village’s Harassment Policy.  However, given the unique services provided by the Library, the Library Board of Trustees has determined that the Sexual Harassment Prevention Policy also applies to all those doing business with the Library (patrons, those utilizing Library facilities).  Additionally should an individual wish to file a complaint concerning a person or situation at the Library, the complaint should be filed with the Library Director.
